1. About EatWhat
EatWhat is a food discovery and restaurant recommendation service designed to help users decide what and where to eat.
By accessing or using EatWhat, you agree to these Terms of Service, subject to any mandatory rights and protections provided by applicable law.
EatWhat is currently offered as a beta service. Features may change, be unavailable or contain errors during testing.
2. Restaurant information and recommendations
EatWhat provides restaurant suggestions using information from third-party providers, user preferences and recommendation logic.
Restaurant names, opening hours, prices, menus, ratings, availability, photos, directions and travel times may be inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
A recommendation does not guarantee that a restaurant serves a particular dish, meets your preferences or is open when you arrive.
Users should verify important details directly with the restaurant before travelling, ordering or making reservations.
3. Food allergies, dietary restrictions and health
EatWhat is not a medical, nutritional or food-safety advisory service.
Dietary filters, food exclusions and recommendations cannot guarantee that a restaurant or meal is free from allergens, cross-contamination or ingredients you wish to avoid.
If you have food allergies, dietary restrictions or medical requirements, you must confirm ingredients and preparation practices directly with the restaurant.
The Healthy filter is a discovery preference, not a verified nutritional or medical assessment.
4. Google Maps and third-party services
EatWhat uses Google Maps Platform to provide restaurant information, photos, reviews, location services and travel estimates.
Google Maps content and services are subject to applicable Google terms, including:
Users must not scrape, extract, reproduce or misuse third-party content in violation of applicable terms.
Travel estimates and directions may omit pedestrian access, indoor routes, road restrictions or other relevant conditions. Always follow local laws, posted signs and safe travel practices.
EatWhat does not control third-party restaurants or guarantee their products or services.
5. Favorites, Your Eats and other features
Favorites and Your Eats allow users to save restaurant selections and food decisions.
These records are primarily stored in the user's browser and may be lost if browser data is cleared or may not be available on another device.
LET'S EAT records a user's decision to accept a recommendation. It does not establish that the user visited, purchased from or ate at the restaurant.
Some features, including Friends and group-related demonstrations, may currently contain sample or prototype functionality. They should not be relied upon for actual invitation delivery, coordination or voting unless expressly identified as operational.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use EatWhat for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activities.
- Attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with application security.
- Send excessive automated requests or deliberately overload the service.
- Scrape, harvest or improperly redistribute third-party restaurant information.
- Misrepresent your identity or misuse another user's access.
EatWhat may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third-party providers.
7. Beta availability and changes
EatWhat is provided on a beta basis and may experience interruptions, errors or temporary unavailability.
We may update, modify, restrict or discontinue features, or suspend the beta service, subject to applicable law.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular recommendation will meet your expectations.
8. Intellectual property
The EatWhat name, original application design, software and original content are owned by or licensed to the operator, subject to applicable third-party rights.
Google Maps content, restaurant photographs and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights and applicable terms.
You may use EatWhat for its intended personal purposes but may not copy or commercially exploit its original software or content without permission or another lawful basis.
9. Responsibility and limitations
EatWhat aims to provide useful recommendations but cannot guarantee the accuracy, safety, availability or suitability of restaurants, food products or travel information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate third-party information, restaurant operations or interruptions beyond the operator's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable consumer protection rights.
10. Privacy
Your use of EatWhat is also governed by the EatWhat Privacy Policy, which explains how information is processed and stored.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to users under other applicable laws.
If a dispute arises, users may contact the operator to seek an informal resolution before pursuing available legal remedies.
Nothing in this section removes a user's right to seek remedies through courts, regulators or other authorities where permitted by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as EatWhat develops. The current version will be made available within the application with its latest update date.
Material changes affecting users' rights or obligations will be communicated where required by applicable law.
